I am passionate about product management. For more than two decades I have worked as IT product manager in various companies and verticals. I consider the role of linking sales and development in the organisation very important and rewarding. I find customer contact a very inspiring part of the product manager role. I can quickly grasp highly complex IT-problems and start contributing to my clients. I am able to translate complex problems in layman's terms to both customers and colleagues. I thrive in an international environment working close to customer. From working in international organisations I have come to appreciate working in a combination of on site and remote. The highest satisfaction for me is to quickly provide value to my clients and help them succeed.

He stepped into a role as PM for an existing product after the current product manager left at short notice, and was able to pick up management of roadmap, and relationships with customers and engineering very quickly. He is very commercially aware and is always fully on top of his product's revenue streams and pricing models, and how those compare to the competition. I was based in the UK, and Mikael in Stockholm, and he worked with an Engineering team in Gothenburg, marketing in the UK, and sales teams worldwide - he is very capable of managing working relationships across multiple locations and timezones.
